Man, it’s been a while since I’ve blogged! Well, at least on my landscape photography website anyways, I’ve been relatively active on my other photography pursuits over at www.marklocki.com. So I figured it was about time to give you a quick update as to what’s going on in my world!
I returned from Mexico in the middle of May, and have settled in Kimberley, BC. Although I haven’t done much photography since returning, I’ve been busy matting and framing prints for the Calgary Stampede Western Showcase, starting this weekend. All the images in this blog post will be on display and on sale in the Western Showcase. This is the second time I’ve exhibited at the Stampede, and will be my first time actually attending the event! You can find me at the Western Showcase in the Photographer’s Corner on July 5th from 5-8pm and on July 6th from 2-5pm. If you’ll be attending the Stampede drop by and say hi! You can also find me at the Art Stir’Up on Wednesday, July 3rd from 6-9pm. The Art Stir’up is an exclusive preview and pre-sale opportunity for the Western Showcase. If you’re interested in attending, I have an extra ticket good for 2 people, send me an email and I’ll be happy to meet you to give it to you!
Going forward, I’ll be concentrating most of my efforts on my commercial and editorial work over at www.marklocki.com, although I still plan on getting out for shooting landscapes a few times a month. I hope to update my blog once a month or so, but the monthly newsletter likely won’t return. If you want more frequent updates, follow me on Instagram at @marklockiphotography or faceboook at www.facebook.com/marklockiphotography.
So long for now, hope to see you at the Stampede!
